This year we are again preparing week-long summer camps for your kids during the summer holidays, and this time, our focus is on transport. By car, train, tram, on bike or on foot? Which of these modes of transport is best suited to city life? What is the fastest way of getting from A to B in Prague? What do you need to prepare before the wheels start spinning on the rails and the feet dance on the pavement? At this year's camp, we'll explore the city transportation options. We'll visit places where these work well, but also places where there's room for improvement. We will travel and explore. We'll ride bikes and take the subway. We will draw and design transport structures and solutions, experiment and craft.
This camp is for all creative children aged 8 to 11 with an interest in architecture and the city, who like to walk and can cycle a short distance. Children who enjoy drawing and creating spatial works from a variety of materials. They should be prepared to discuss their ideas as well as listen to and comment on the suggestions of others.
Please sign your child up after having a chat with them about the content of the programme. We would like to give space to those participants who are keen on the topic and eager to get to work with us.
The program will be led by experienced instructors: a gallery educator, a graphic designer, and a teacher.
